What is fungal & Bacterial infection on Skin?
- Fungal infections on the skin, also known as dermatophytosis, can be caused by various types of fungi. These infections thrive in warm, moist environments and can affect different parts of the body. Athlete's foot, Jock itch, Ringworm, Yeast infection, Candidiasis, Dermatophytosis are common types of fungal skin infections.
- Bacterial skin infections can appear as bumps, rashes, or sores, and can be caused by a number of bacteria such as Staphylococcus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa etc. Impetigo, Cellulitis, Boils, etc are common types of bacterial infections.
